We definitely want to organise more Tears in the Fears events and now, with our new website and digital tools that’s going to be a whole lot easier. We’re planning on at least two a year.

Back in September 2009, we celebrated the 50th issue with a five hour event in conjunction with Penned in the Marginsat The Bell near Liverpool Street in London. The line-up was truly diverse with poets from UK, the Caribbean, India and Canada. And their styles and deliveries couldn’t have been more more different from each other. Yeah, that’s what we like to do at Tears – showcase poetry in all it’s myriad forms! We’re nothing if not eclectic.
